I just reviewed my personal Wiki for this class - EDU 653. I'm very happy with the collection of projects I've created for this class, and I can honestly say that I'll use a lot of the learning resources in my class next year! When I look back at how much I've learned over the past 8 weeks of this course, it's really amazing. Does anyone else in the class feel the same?
This course has by far provided me with the most applicable tools and information to take back to my own classroom. It's also opened my eyes to many new ways to use technology to support learning and collaborate inside and outside of the classroom with my students. I'm excited to put my new knowledge to work! Thank you Kimberly!
I completely agree with you. I have found this class more useful than most others. This is what I thought the entire program would be like when I signed up for a master's in Educational Technology.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both of you! This has definitely been the best class I've taken so far. Too bad they all weren't like this one.
ReplyDeleteI wrote a similar blog post just minutes ago. I've really enjoyed this class. I am going to be able to put a lot of this information to use right away.
ReplyDeleteI am echoing all of your voices right now! Finally! Something "new" that we don't already know how to do! Kimberly set up this class in a great way, awesome pace and wonderful ideas! Jessica, I have enjoyed viewing your projects- you do an awesome job! Your digital storytelling was outstanding :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Whitney! The wikis have been great! They let us see what everyone else in the class is doing. It's much less of being on an island alone - and much more of collaboration!
ReplyDeleteI agree as well, this class has been a great learning experience. Being able to view everyone's is fun and makes the online experience much more personal.
ReplyDeleteJessica - I agree! This has been a very useful class and it came at just the right time. I now have the summer to put many of the tools that we used in this class together for my own classroom. It has been great to collaborate with each of you!
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I posted a comment on Sunday to this blog, but it did not post?? I was using my new MacBook Air, so maybe that is why.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that all of you enjoyed this course. I am going to share this feedback with the other faculty members for Ed Tech as the courses are going to be revamped this fall.
This is a great cohort! I would suggest that you establish a wiki to continue working together beyond this Masters program. Collaboration and sharing is huge in implementing technology into the classroom. Just a thought. :-)
I wish all of you the very best. Please feel free to keep in touch and share how these new tools you have learned work out in your classroom!!!
Best wishes!
